Primarily suitable for constructing large-scale water intake projects along rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and dams, where there is a significant difference in water levels between dry and wet seasons, with rapid fluctuations. Due to the relatively flat shore slopes and shallow water depths, and steep slopes with greater depths in the middle section, a pier can be built on the lower, flat shore slopes, with the bridge structure extending into the deeper water levels. Water intake is then achieved using arm-type pump boats at the deeper water levels. For rivers, lakes, and reservoirs with steep shore slopes and water depths meeting intake requirements, a support pier can be directly constructed at the shore end, and arm-type pump boats used for water intake.
