How to Judge the Quality of Encoders

Determining the Quality of Encoders:

During the installation process, ensure that the encoder is positioned correctly; otherwise, it may cause signal interference.

Ensure that the cable length is sufficiently long during installation (typically 5 meters).

If multi-path transmission cables are used, the distance between each cable must not exceed 100 meters.

4. For encoder applications used in specific events, such as temperature and flow measurements, they are typically installed in environments that maintain constant temperature and humidity.

5. When the on-site environment is poor or there is a strong electromagnetic radiation source nearby, it is recommended to choose a magnetically shielded or electromagnetic interference shielded sensor; however, when the on-site environment is good or there is no strong electromagnetic radiation source, a standard sensor can be selected.

When selecting sensors, opt for models with backlighting whenever possible.

7. Sensors of different models are available for selection depending on the various application fields.

For occasions with high standards, it is best to opt for imported brand products.

Do not purchase cheap, low-quality products to avoid affecting regular production work.
