The size of the filter area in a surface filter determines the primary performance of the filtering unit. Therefore, when selecting a surface filter, we first need to ensure that its filter area is suitable. The filter area of a surface filter is influenced by the following three factors:
1. Medium Flow Rate: Based on the medium flow rate, operating pressure, the corresponding precision and size of the filter bag in the water, initially confirm the quantity of the filter bags.
2. Pressure Drop: Determine if the equipment exceeds the allowable pressure drop range based on the actual flow rate of each filter bag and medium viscosity.
3. Medium Viscosity: This is also an important factor to consider, as it allows for the calculation of the filter bag's capacity and confirmation of whether it has reached the operating cycle based on the replacement cycle.
