Vegetable Greenhouse Construction, Excellent Light Transmission

There are various forms of greenhouse construction. Among them, the single-span greenhouses come in two shapes: arch and gable. They range in height from 2.2 to 2.6 meters, width (span) from 10 to 15 meters, and length from 45 to 66 meters, covering an area of approximately 660 square meters, which is convenient for management and production. Alternatively, they can be connected to form a gable greenhouse. The single-span width is from 4 to 12 meters, with each greenhouse covering about 1 mu of land. When connected, they occupy 2 to 5 mu, or even up to 10 mu or more. The large-span greenhouses cover more area, utilize land efficiently, maintain higher and stable temperatures, and have strong buffering capacity. However, due to poor ventilation, they often lead to high temperatures and humidity inside, which can be harmful or create conditions for disease outbreaks, and they are also difficult to manage. Therefore, it is not advisable to have too many connected greenhouses or a too large span.
