Product Description

This product is based on modified MMA (polymethyl methacrylate).Methyl MethacrylateEnvironmentally friendly coatings (resin-based). The main film-forming substances are copolymers of methyl methacrylate (MMA), butyl methacrylate (MBA), and butyl acrylate (BA).

Combining surface hardness with internal plasticizer flexibility, it effectively prevents the anti-slip layer from cracking due to stress release in steel structures. Under the action of the redox reaction system, free radicals are activated to achieve a curing process of chain initiation, chain growth, and chain termination.

The necessity of paving


After the steel structure bridge deck is welded and installed, it requires at least six months for an internal prestress relief period. During stress release, the steel plates may experience localized deformation or distortion.


The coefficient of thermal expansion for steel plates is significant. During the stress relief cycle, if there is an alternating transition between summer and winter, and frequent switching between high and low-temperature environments, the steel plate will undergo substantial expansion and contraction.


This offers high mechanical properties for colored steel plate flooring materials. Incorrect selection of the flooring material can lead to the failure of the waterproof and anticorrosive structure, resulting in localized rust.


The surface colored anti-slip paving structure may experience cracking and hollowing. When the steel plate shows localized rust, the anti-slip layer will gradually peel off, leading to irreparable damage to the overall paving layer.


Based on a methyl methacrylate (MMA) overall paving structure layer, it boasts excellent low-temperature flexibility, tensile strength, and adhesion, effectively preventing issues such as cracking, bulging, and failure of waterproof and anti-corrosion properties in steel plate paving layers.

4. Can be used normally in temperatures ranging from -20 to 40 degrees Celsius, allowing for construction during cold winters. Traffic can be reopened in about 2 hours, minimizing traffic control duration and making the colored paving safer and more convenient.

5. Long service life. Methyl methacrylate (MMA) exhibits excellent weather resistance, water resistance, and resistance to acids, alkalis, and salts. Organic glass polymerized from MMA can last up to 20 years when used in outdoor soundproofing barriers. For road coatings, it can be used outdoors for as long as 8 years.

6. Excellent adhesion. Provides strong grip on steel plates, concrete, asphalt, and even tiles, preventing displacement or delamination of the colored paving layers due to the shear force from heavy vehicles.

7. High anti-slip value. After spraying, the raised abrasive dots provide a road surface with a BPN (BPN: British Pendulum Number) of over 65, ensuring safety for pedestrians and vehicular traffic.

8. Short construction time, can be applied normally at -30°C. Generally, curing and traffic can be resumed within two hours. MMA resin-based coatings can cure in extremely short time, minimizing traffic control duration.

9. Easy to install, no need for heavy machinery. Simply requires manual scraping and spraying operations.

10. Excellent low-temperature fracture resistance. In the -20°C low-temperature test, there were no fractures after 4 cycles, highly beneficial for use in environments with significant temperature differences.

11. Oil and grease resistant, acid and alkali salt tolerant. Methyl methacrylate (MMA) boasts excellent physical properties, remaining unreactive with gasoline, diesel, and engine oil after curing, offering good resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and salt spray. It is the ideal material for colored thin-layer paving in coastal areas.

12. Easy to clean, the methyl methacrylate coating has a low surface energy and excellent hydrophobic and stain-resistant properties, remaining fresh even after years of water washing.
