Performance and Application
AEO-3, AEO-4, and AEO-5 are easily soluble in oils and polar solvents, showing a diffused state in water, with excellent emulsifying properties. They serve as W/O emulsifiers, used for emulsifying mineral oils and fatty solvents, as well as thickening reducers for polyvinyl chloride plastics. They are widely employed in textile oil agents. AEO-3 is a primary raw material for producing AES, while AEO-4 can act as an emulsifier and dry cleaning agent for silicones and hydrocarbons.
2. AEO-7 and AEO-9 are easily soluble in water, featuring excellent emulsifying, cleaning, and wetting properties. They are used in the woolen textile industry as wool cleaning and degreasing agents, fabric refining agents, and cleaning agents. They can also be a significant component of liquid detergents. In the production of cosmetics and soft creams, they serve as emulsifiers. They exhibit excellent emulsifying, dispersing, and wetting properties with mineral oils and both animal and vegetable fats. Additionally, they can act as emulsifiers for glass fiber spinning oils.
3. AEO-15, AEO-20, and AEO-23 are used as wool degreaser, textile cleaner, liquid detergent, hydrocarbon solvent, general industrial emulsifier, essential oil solubilizer, anti-static agent wetting agent, and brightener in electroplating industry. AEO-20, as a leveling agent in the dyeing and printing industry, demonstrates significant effects and excellent scouring properties. Adding this additive to the dyeing process not only achieves the goals of delayed and uniform dyeing but also enhances the color fastness, resulting in bright and aesthetically pleasing colors.
