    Disc Sludge Dryer Overview:
    The Sludge Disc Dryer, compared to other indirect drying equipment, boasts larger heat transfer area, excellent mixing performance, and the ability to more effectively promote water evaporation and removal, making it a newly developed improved type of indirect heating dryer. The drum dryer is primarily composed of the stator (shell), rotor (drum), and driving unit. The rotor's central shaft is the supporting component for the drying drum, which is a hollow shaft with all drums welded onto it. The disc dryer transports sludge uniformly and slowly through the entire dryer, drying it by contact with the drum. During the drying process, hot steam condenses on the inner wall of the drum cavity, forming condensate. This condensate is then channeled through a pipe into the central tube and finally discharged from the dryer via an outlet slot. A scraper is installed between each pair of drums, fixed to the shell (stator). The scraper can loosen the sludge between the discs, allowing waste steam to quickly leave the sludge. The heat transfer medium in the dryer is typically saturated steam at 0.2Mpa to 0.6Mpa. Each drum in the drum dryer is welded from two opposing discs. The inner cavity of the central shaft is connected to the inner cavities of all drums. To enhance the drum's strength, the hollow drum cavity is fitted with numerous support rods, with the ends of the rods supporting the two discs on either side. Depending on the properties of the material to be dried, the drums can be made of low-carbon steel, stainless steel, or special alloy steel. Pusher/mixer blades are fitted at the edge of the drum, serving two functions: pushing the material through and mixing the material. The angle of the pusher can be adjusted, and the inner cavity of the drum can be supplied with medium and low-pressure steam, heat transfer oil, or high-pressure hot water to transfer the necessary heat for drying the product.
    The sludge disc dryer boasts low oxygen content, temperature, and dust levels during operation, ensuring excellent safety. Each vertical disc of the dryer features heat transfer on both sides, with a large heat transfer area and a compact structure. Its dimensions are quite small, requiring minimal auxiliary equipment and a simple system. Inside, the sludge remains wet to prevent adhesion to the disc surface. Fixed, longer scrapers are installed on the inner wall of the outer shell, reaching the gaps between discs to agitate the sludge and clean the disc surface. The dryer utilizes a low-temperature heat source (≤180℃) to heat the sludge, preventing overheating during shutdown. The need for auxiliary air is minimal, and the exhaust gas treatment equipment is compact. The disc dryer is suitable for both semi-drying and full-drying processes, can use steam, thermal oil, and various other heat transfer mediums, and operates in an excellent on-site environment.
    The Sludge Disc Dryer has now evolved into a mature drying process, holding a significant market share internationally. The process flow for semi-drying and incineration of sludge using disc dryers is as follows: Wet sludge entering the sludge treatment plant is pumped into the disc dryer, where it is heated indirectly to increase temperature and evaporate moisture. The waste steam produced is condensed into a liquid by a condenser, which is then treated to meet discharge standards or integrated into the sewage pipeline. The dried sludge is then incinerated in an incinerator. The high-temperature flue gas generated from the sludge incineration is recovered for heat energy by a waste heat boiler, a low-ash boiler, and an air preheater, before being treated by an exhaust gas purification unit to meet standards and released into the atmosphere through the chimney. The recovered heat energy from the disc dryer produces steam or heats thermal oil, which serves as the heat source medium for the dryer, achieving efficient heat utilization.
    Features of the Disc Sludge Dryer:

    3) Uniform heating, particularly effective for the decomposition of refractory sludge matter. Sludge decomposition is 20-40 times faster than traditional heating methods, with strong penetration ability. The dried product is loose and easy to crush, and also possesses sterilization effects.
    4). Equipped with an ozone generator, ozone is a powerful oxidizer and an effective sterilization and disinfection agent, ranking second only to fluorine in terms of oxidation power. It possesses special functions for deodorization, odor removal, and disinfection, effectively eliminating harmful gases.
