1. Physical Properties:

• Mica powder features a layered structure, consisting of a complex silicate layer formed by two silicate tetrahedra sandwiching an aluminate octahedron. It has perfect cleavage, allowing it to be split into extremely thin sheets with a thickness below 1μm (theoretically, it can be reduced to 0.001μm), and a large diameter-to-thickness ratio.

• Color and Luster: Mica powder comes in a variety of colors, ranging from colorless transparent to black, with white and light yellow being the most common. Pure mica blocks are gray, purple rose, white, etc., and possess a silky luster (with muscovite exhibiting a glassy luster).
