Installation and inspection of the crew
The quality of the pump installation significantly affects the pump's smooth operation and lifespan; therefore, the installation process must be carried out meticulously, without haste.
2. The installation height, length, and diameter of the pump suction pipe should meet the calculated values, aiming for brevity. The distance from the center of the pipe bend to the pump base head should generally be less than1Millet with welded iron plate and supports; see illustration.1Image2Figure3As shown.
3. The intake and exhaust piping should also have a pipe rack or support; the pump is not to bear the load of the piping.
Warning: Stress caused by thermal expansion in the pipeline, if transmitted to the pump unit, can cause deformation of the pump, damage to couplings and bearings, and the pump shaft, etc. Therefore, it is imperative to provide support near the pump housing.
4. The installation location should be spacious enough for easy maintenance and good heat dissipation.
5. Installation Sequence:
(1) Place the unit on a foundation with embedded anchor bolts, inserting mating washers between the base and foundation for alignment purposes.
(2) Disengage the coupling, place a level on both the pump shaft and the base, and adjust the wedge pads to level the unit. Tighten the foot bolts appropriately to prevent movement.
(3) Pour concrete into the base and bolt hole.
(4) After the concrete has cured, inspect the base and foot bolts for any defects or loosening. Once the inspection is passed, tighten the foot bolts and recheck the pump's level.
(5) Align the coaxiality of the pump shaft and motor shaft; when checking with a level gauge, the circular跳动 on the outer circumference of the coupling should not exceed0.1Millimeters, the clearance between the two shaft coupler planes should be ensured at2~3 Within millimeters, vary by level ruler90°When aligning the coupling, the circular runout in the opposite direction should not exceed either.0.1Millimeters, when adjusting, it is generally relative to the pump to adjust the motor, and the alignment of the couplings can be adjusted by inserting flat washers.
