Polyethylene-lined plastic pipes exhibit excellent corrosion resistance to non-oxidizing acids (such as yin acid, dilute liu acid, hydrofluoric acid), dilute xiao acid, alkalis, and salt solutions, but are not resistant to corrosion from concentrated xiao acid, concentrated liu acid, and other strong oxidizing agents. They also have good resistance to organic solvents and general corrosive agents at room temperature.
Typical Applications:
Polyethylene lined pipes are suitable for transporting general corrosive liquid mediums, and are particularly ideal for the conveyance of potable water and drinking hot and cold water. They do not affect water quality during transportation, meet food hygiene requirements, and steel-wearing high-density polyethylene pipes can be widely used for transporting solid-liquid slurries such as coal and ore sands.
