Forged steel gate valves are widely used and are typically selected for cutting devices with nominal diameters DN≤50.

As a type of gate valve, all gate valves manufactured from forging materials are collectively known as forging steel gate valves. The forging materials include A105, F11, F5, 304, 304L, 316, and 316L. In China, the term "forging steel gate valve" generally refers to small bore forging steel gate valves, with a size range of DN10 to DN50; pressure range: GB PN16 to PN320, or ASME Class 150 to 2500. Both GB and ASME dimensions can be produced, and manufacturers offer in-stock supplies. Forging steel gate valves with diameters exceeding DN50 typically require customization, and there is less demand domestically.
