Bridge Leveling (Wedge) Steel Plate

During the construction of highway bridges, Liang Diaoping steel plates are used in addition to the installation of expansion joints, rubber supports, and rubber waterstops for highway bridges. These are used to ensure uniform stress distribution and shear deformation in the rubber supports of the bridge. Above and below the rubber supports, there are matching steel plates, which are used for constructing railway bridges, highway bridges, and cross-sea bridges, etc. They are required to have high strength and toughness, capable of withstanding the loads and impacts of locomotives and vehicles, and exhibit good fatigue resistance, certain low-temperature toughness, and atmospheric corrosion resistance. The gap between the leveling steel plate and the bedding stone should also be filled with epoxy resin mortar to ensure compactness and equal strength. After the supports are installed, the pre-buried steel plate at the bottom of the beam is connected to the top steel plate of the support with bolts.

(1) Bridge leveling steel plate construction preparation: The notch at the tip of the pile should be sealed before driving the pile to prevent soil from entering; the lock should be coated with butter or other lubricants. For steel plate piles that are old, poorly maintained, deformed at the lock, and severely rusted, repairs and corrections should be made. Bent piles can be straightened using hydraulic jacks or by heating with fire.

Therefore, a measurement should be taken after every 1m of driving.
