Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Pipe Transportation and Storage: During transportation, the hot dip galvanized pipe should not be thrown or subjected to severe impacts. During loading and unloading, nylon straps should be used for hoisting. The hot dip galvanized pipe should be stacked flat in an indoor or shaded area. When stored outdoors, it must be covered with a rain shelter and kept away from heat sources and fire. It should not be stored outdoors in direct sunlight or extreme cold for long periods. It should not be stored together with toxic or harmful substances.

Note: Pipe materials suitable for hot water transport can also handle cold water, but those intended for cold water transport cannot be used for hot water. The cross-section of coated steel pipes must not come into contact with water, non-lined pipe fittings cannot replace lined ones, fittings with coated ductile iron should not be used, the face-seated threaded steel flanges should have injection-molded joints, transitions should be used for valve thread connections, and transition fittings should also be used for water tap connections. Groove-type connections should use rubber sealing rings.

Flanged pipe connectors are used for temporary connections between grooved piping and flanged equipment or valves, utilizing international bolts for the connection. The bolt hole diameter and position dimensions of the flanged pipe clamp are compatible with international flanges. Mechanical tees can be used to directly branch off from steel pipes, first making a hole using a hole cutter on the fitting, then inserting the mechanical tee into the hole, sealed around the pipe wall with a gasket. Mechanical tees are available in both threaded and grooved styles. Grooved style pipe fittings come with 90° elbows, 45° elbows, equal and unequal tee fittings, and concentric reducers to accommodate various connection requirements of the piping system. Pipe plugs are used to seal the end openings of steel pipes and must be used in conjunction with pipe connectors.
