According to the size of the spacing between the grid bars, the grid is divided into three categories: coarse grid, medium grid, and fine grid. There are three types of slag removal methods for grilles: manual grilles, mechanical grilles, and hydraulic cleaning grilles. According to the different structural characteristics of the grille, it can be divided into various forms such as rake type, circular type, arc type, rotary type, drum type, rotary type, toothed rake type, and stepped type.
Grille equipment is generally used on the inlet channel of sewage treatment or at the inlet of the collection tank of the lifting pump station. Its main function is to remove larger suspended or floating objects in the sewage, to reduce the treatment load of subsequent water treatment processes, and to protect water pumps, pipelines, instruments, etc. When the intercepted slag amount is greater than 0.2m3/d, mechanical slag cleaning is generally used; When the slag amount is less than 0.2m3/d, manual slag cleaning or mechanical slag cleaning can be used.
