One. Technical requirements for the manufacturing of facade embedment parts
1. Commonly used embedded parts for architectural curtain walls include flat and channel types, with flat embedded parts being widely applied.
2. Anchor plates should be made of Q235-grade steel, and anchor bars should be hot-rolled rebar of HPB300, HRB335, or HRB400 grade; cold-rolled rebar is strictly prohibited.
3. The anchor rod and anchor plate should be welded using a T-shaped weld. When the diameter of the anchor rod does not exceed 20mm, pressure submerged arc welding is recommended; when the diameter of the anchor rod is greater than 20mm, plug welding through holes is recommended. It is not allowed to bend the anchor rod into a π-shaped or L-shaped and weld it to the anchor plate. When manual welding is used, the weld height should not be less than 6mm and 0.5d (HPB300 grade steel rebar) or 0.6d (HRB335 grade, HRB400 grade steel rebar), where d is the diameter of the anchor rod.
4. Pre-buried parts should be treated with anti-corrosion, and when using hot-dip galvanizing for anti-corrosion, the zinc coating thickness should be greater than 40μm.
Section 2: Technical Requirements for the Installation of Facade Anchor Components
1. Wall panel embedment should be installed at the designated location and specification as per design requirements during the concrete pouring of the main structure.
2. Prior to the installation of the curtain wall frame, the curtain wall construction unit shall re-measure the deviation of the main structure and the installation positions of embedded parts, and draw a diagram of the measurement results. Based on the deviation data, adjust the division of the curtain wall as necessary. For significant deviations or missing embedded parts, a remedial plan should be formulated, and implemented only after approval from the owner and the design unit.
3. To ensure the reliability of the connection between the curtain wall embedment and the main structure, the concrete strength grade of the main structure at the connection point should not be lower than C20; lightweight partition walls should not serve as the supporting structure for the curtain wall.
