Greenhouse construction should be selected in areas with good lighting conditions, flat terrain, favorable engineering geological conditions, and low groundwater levels, avoiding regions prone to natural disasters such as floods, mudslides, and windstorms. The construction site should have access to water and electricity to meet production and living needs, with a preference for locations with geothermal energy, industrial waste heat, and other resources. Choose a well-drained area to promptly drain excess rainwater. If the selected site is uneven, it must be leveled. Additionally, avoid tall buildings and trees that may obstruct sunlight; if they cannot be avoided, sufficient space must be left to ensure adequate light exposure for the greenhouse. Moreover, the location should be easily accessible.
