Introduction to Steel Grating
Steel grating, also known as steel grate or grating board, is made by welding flat steel and twisted steel. Durable and cost-effective compared to other products, steel grating is primarily used for power plant platforms, parking lot platforms, maintenance platforms, manhole covers, and tread plates. It is also utilized in environmental protection equipment and wastewater treatment. Steel grating is widely employed in various fields such as petrochemicals, electricity, water supply, wastewater treatment, port terminals, architectural decoration, shipbuilding, mobile parking lots, municipal engineering, and environmental sanitation projects, including platforms, walkways, gangways, covers, manholes, ladders, fences, and more.
Stainless Steel Grating Covers
Stainless steel channel grating, also known as stair tread plate, steel stair tread plate, or stair tread, is a type of stairboard used for platforms. It comes in two installation types: welded connection and bolted connection. Welded tread plates can be directly welded onto the stair beam.
Overview
Welded fixed tread plates, directly welded to the ladder beam; no need for side panels for the treads, offering a more economical option but not easily removable. For bolted tread plates, thicker side panels are required, with holes pre-drilled for direct bolt installation, allowing for recycling and reuse. Customers can customize according to their specific needs, using suitable steel grating to create various sizes to match the corresponding staircase.
Features & Applications
(1) The installation of the step board is very simple and does not require complex assembly.
(2) Excellent ventilation, lighting, heat dissipation, explosion-proof, and anti-slip properties.
(3) High strength, lightweight construction, and durability of the step board
(4) Extremely easy maintenance and anti-fouling.
Tread plates find extensive use across various applications, including platforms and walkways in power plants and water treatment facilities, as well as in municipal and environmental protection projects. They are also widely employed in large-scale areas such as cinemas, visitor platforms, and parking lots.
