Introduction to Steel Grating
Steel grating, also known as steel grate or grating panel, is焊接 from flat steel and twisted steel. Durable and cost-effective compared to other products, steel grating is primarily used in power plant platforms, parking lot platforms, maintenance platforms, drainage covers, and tread plates. It is also used in environmental protection equipment and wastewater treatment. Steel grating is widely applied in platforms, walkways, gangways, covers, manholes, ladders, fences, and other areas in the fields of petrochemicals, electricity, water supply, wastewater treatment, ports, construction decoration, shipbuilding, self-propelled parking lots, municipal engineering, and environmental protection engineering.
Steel Grating Plates
Also known as steel grating or grid plate, it is a type of steel product made by crossing flat steel bars at specific intervals with crossbars, then welded together to form a square grid pattern in the middle. It is primarily used for drain covers, steel structure platform panels, and step boards for steel ladders. The crossbars are typically made of twisted square steel.
Manufacturing Process of Steel Grating Panels: Steel grating panels are manufactured by arranging load-bearing flat bars and cross bars at specific intervals, then焊接 using a 200-ton hydraulic resistance welding automation system to form the original plate. The panels are then processed through cutting, drilling, and edging, among other steps, to meet customer requirements. Load-bearing flat bar spacing: The spacing between adjacent load-bearing flat bars is commonly 30, 40, and 50 mm, among others. Cross bar spacing: The spacing between adjacent cross bars is typically 50, 76, 80, 100 mm, etc., and can be produced according to customer specifications, with customized steel grating panels of various models available based on customer needs.
Product Features of Steel Grating Plates:
1: High strength, lightweight structure.
2: Strong corrosion resistance, durable in use.
3: Aesthetically pleasing with a glossy surface.
4: No accumulation of dirt, no snow or rain buildup, no water pooling, self-cleaning, easy to maintain.
Ventilation, lighting, heat dissipation, anti-slip, and explosion-proof properties are excellent.
6: Easy to install and disassemble.
Product Application: Widely used in the oil and chemical industry, tobacco sector, power generation, water supply, wastewater treatment, port terminals, construction decoration, shipbuilding, self-propelled parking lots, municipal engineering, environmental sanitation projects, and other platforms. Also for walkways, bridges, manhole covers, ladder covers, fences, and ceiling systems in industrial and civil buildings such as large sports venues, exhibitions, large commercial complexes, stations, ports, and airports.
