Ultra-Gravity Carbonation Reaction Equipment Technical Description

Material A inside the reaction vessel is supplied to the pre-mixing reactor at a constant pressure via a circulation pump, while material B in the metering tank is introduced into the distributor of the pre-mixing reactor by a flow meter to undergo primary mixing with material A. Subsequently, it is drawn into the reaction working chamber of the ultra-gravity reactor. With the stator's relative rotational speed reaching up to 3000 rpm, material A and B are subjected to high-speed shearing, particle fluid tearing, and crushing grinding under ultra-gravity, forming particles with micro gas-in-liquid or liquid-in-gas encapsulation. This continuous mixing and homogenization of materials A and B, as well as the intensification of the reaction, lead to further mixing and homogenization of A and B after passing through the ultra-gravity reactor, which are then returned to the bottom of the reaction vessel for continued reaction. Material A can be a liquid or a solid slurry, while material B can be a gas, solid, or liquid.

The ultra-gravity reaction system is a new type of reaction system composed of equipment such as a mixing reactor, tubular reactor, ultra-gravity reactor, condensing reverse tubular reactor, and flowmeters. This technology achieves shearing forces in an ultra-gravity environment through the rotation of packing, promoting the tearing of gas-liquid, gas-liquid-solid, and liquid-liquid particles into micro-scale liquid elements. This results in a 2-4 order of magnitude increase in interfacial mass transfer rate compared to traditional reaction towers, enhancing the micro-mixing and mass transfer processes.

Blender reactor

Vessel agitation is a commonly used reaction method to enhance mixing effects, and it is also an early and widely used mixer. The agitator shaft can be浆式or锚式, selected based on the viscosity of different materials. The reaction vessel can be equipped with a cooling jacket or internal coil for cooling and heating purposes.

Ultra-Gravity Reactor

Hypergravity reaction technology features highly enhanced mass transfer, micro-mixing, and instantaneous reaction, with its core technology focusing on strengthening the mixing reaction of mass transfer and micro-mixing processes. Under hypergravity, gas-liquid, liquid-liquid, and gas-liquid-solid phases are instantly cut, dispersed, and broken down by the rotating device of the reactor, with the liquid particles torn into micron-sized liquid elements. This results in an extremely large and continuously updated surface area. Furthermore, under conditions of high dispersion, high turbulence, strong mixing, and rapid interface renewal, they are in contact with gas at an extremely high relative speed, increasing the mass transfer rate between phases by 1 to 3 orders of magnitude compared to traditional reaction towers, thereby greatly enhancing the micro-mixing and mass transfer processes.

Tubular Reactor

The tubular reactor enhances the turbulence and contact area between gas and liquid within the pipes due to the action of multiple structural units fixed in the pipeline. It improves the micro-mixing within the tubular reactor, achieving a micro-mixing efficiency that is one order of magnitude higher than that of a conventional empty pipe reactor under the same conditions. Moreover, under the same energy dissipation rate, the tubular reactor improves micro-mixing in both laminar and turbulent states, boasting a higher micro-mixing efficiency than a continuous stirred-tank reactor.

Condenser tube reactor

The Condenser Tube Reactor is a novel heat and mass transfer technology that combines a tubular reactor with a condenser. This technology not only enhances the micro-mixing efficiency by creating secondary vortices through fluid turbulence within the tubes, but also increases the heat exchange area by utilizing the reverse flow of another heat transfer medium, thereby improving the reaction effect of uniform mixing and absorption within the tubes.

Case

Calcium oxide reacts with water under supergravity, producing 30% more calcium hydroxide per unit mass than the conventional water bubble method.

2. Dissolved oxygen, oxygen's supergravity reaction with water, at room temperature, dissolved oxygen in water reaches 25mg/L, typically reaching saturation at 8-925mg/L under 20°C conditions. It can be maintained for up to 25 days.

3. Non-homogeneous, the reaction between chlorobutane and sodium cyanide under supergravity can be completed in 12 hours, whereas a conventional reaction would take over 40 hours to finish.
