A colloid mill is a high-tech slurry equipment integrating shearing, crushing, and grinding functions. The crushing and slurry technology of this equipment is an innovative technology in the colloid mill industry, widely used in the crushing, grinding, and slurry preparation of various materials.
Product Principle
Under high-speed motor drive, various particle sizes in the material must withstand hundreds of thousands of high-speed shearing cuts by the conical saw-tooth blades of the rotor as they pass through the channel into the shearing cavity of the rotor's fan-shaped impeller. Due to the centrifugal force of the conical saw-tooth blades, the particles are thrown outward, entering the space between the slanted triangular diamond-shaped teeth on the rotor and the fixed stator teeth for centrifugal squeezing, high-speed cutting, and crushing grinding processes. As the material is crushed and refined, it gradually moves towards the crushing and grinding zone. The strong high-speed shearing effect and high-frequency oscillation caused by the superimposed crushing motion continuously shear and grind the particles to meet the user-specified particle size requirements before exiting through the pump outlet. The particle size of the material ground and refined by the crushing and grinding machine is generally between 0.1 to 1 mm.
