The personnel and material carrier consists of a traction unit, bogie, body, and buffer device.
The manway trolley consists of a traction unit, bogies, the body, and cushioning devices. Traction Unit: Comprised of rods and a traction cushioning main spring for smooth startup, with springs in the four cushioning heads at both ends of the trolley to reduce impact forces during stopping and starting.
Traction Device: Composed of rods and traction buffer main springs for smooth startup, with springs inside the four buffer heads at both ends of the train to mitigate the impact force during stopping and starting.
Steering Gear: The steering gear consists of a center disc, abutment, frame, axle assembly, side abutment, and adjustment pads. The body is connected to the steering gear via a spherical center disc and core shaft, allowing the steering gear to rotate correspondingly in both the horizontal and vertical planes of the track, with a rotation angle of 10°. Adjustment pads are installed at the positions on the body corresponding to the side abutments, adjusting the gap to 3-4mm on each side. Damping springs are also fitted within the steering gear to ensure the stability of the vehicle and passengers on inclined tracks.
The body consists of the canopy and the frame, featuring seating arrangements: PRC6-6/3 with three rows, PRC8-6/3 with four rows, PRC12-6/3 and PRC18-9/3 with six rows. Each row in the PRC6-6/3, PRC8-6/3, and PRC12-6/3 models accommodates two people, while the PRC18-9/3 model can seat three people per row.
Purpose of Level-off Manway Vehicle:
The term is self-explanatory; it refers to personnel transport vehicles used in coal mine level tunnels. These level-personnel cars are towed in a line by a traction locomotive. For the safety of coal miners, the level-personnel cars are also equipped with shock-absorbing devices, such as buffer springs.
