Copper sleeve for wire rope – The copper sleeve is lighter in weight, similar in function and effect to an aluminum sleeve, and more aesthetically pleasing, though it's slightly more expensive. It's used to secure the ends of wire rope. Depending on the required size of the hanging loop, insert the wire rope into the copper sleeve, then place it into the press mold (matching the copper sleeve model, with both mold and sleeve sizes being standard), and after pressing, remove the excess copper waste from both sides. One wire rope is now complete!
The combination of wire rope crimping machines and metal sleeves enhances production efficiency and reduces labor costs. Once formed and clamped, there's no worry about the metal sleeve falling off, even if the wire rope is pulled out. It is now widely used in various rope rigging. The size of the metal sleeve is related to the rope diameter, with different ropes requiring different aluminum or copper sleeves. The features of the crimped wire rope metal couplings include no cracking and a long service life.
