Application Scope:
1. Crystalline aluminum chloride, a new type of water treatment agent and an inorganic flocculant, is primarily used in industrial wastewater treatment, municipal pipeline sewage purification, and tap water treatment industries. It demonstrates significant effectiveness in treating drinking water, fluoride-containing wastewater, and industrial wastewater, as well as in the purification of oily wastewater. Its impact is particularly pronounced in low-temperature, low-turbidity, and alkaline water bodies. Crystalline aluminum chloride is extensively used in wastewater treatment plants, power stations, and other industrial facilities for water and industrial wastewater purification, including chemical plants, textile factories, paper mills, and other types of factories for industrial wastewater treatment. Compared to traditional low-molecular-weight inorganic salts like ferrous sulfate, crystalline aluminum chloride offers superior performance. It has the advantages of requiring less dosage, producing a larger floc volume, and effectively removing COD, color, and suspended particles.
2. Castable crystalline aluminum chloride is primarily used in the precision casting industry, serving as a substitute for ammonium chloride as a shell hardener for investment casting. It offers advantages such as stable quality, high shell strength, easy trimming, and improved working conditions for workers. Compared to magnesium chloride and ammonium chloride as hardeners, it requires less usage and has a lower overall cost. Using aluminum chloride as a shell hardener results in higher shell strength and a product yield rate about 3% higher than when using ammonium chloride or magnesium chloride. The production process emits no harmful gases, thus improving the working environment for workers.
It is an intermediate product for producing polyaluminum chloride.
