Product Introduction of Flange Expansion Butterfly Valve:

The flange expansion butterfly valve has the function of automatically compensating for the thermal expansion and contraction of pipelines for easy loading and unloading. It is used as a device for regulating flow and breaking fluids in industrial pipelines such as petroleum, chemical, power, papermaking, water supply and drainage, and municipal construction with temperatures below 120 ℃ and nominal pressures below 1.6MPa.

There are three types of flange expansion butterfly valves:

A、 Ordinary type: When selecting, design and install according to the design specifications of the expansion joint. If limit bolts need to be added, please specify during the design process.

B、 Fixed limit type: It can expand and limit, and has the function of fixing the expansion part to prevent it from expanding. Its characteristic is that it has multiple functions and a wider range of applications.

C、 Extended type: It is an extension of the expansion joint of a regular expansion butterfly valve to meet the user's required length (excluding expansion). Its characteristic is that when renovating an old pipeline, the valves on the original pipeline need to be updated and replaced without cutting the connecting parts of the valves on the original pipeline. When selecting the extended type, limit measures should also be considered. If limit measures are required, please indicate them during the design process.

1. The sealing part can be adjusted and replaced, and the sealing performance is reliable.

2. Unique structure, flexible design, light weight, effortless operation, and quick opening and closing.

3. The telescopic butterfly valve not only compensates for the thermal expansion and contraction caused by temperature difference in the pipeline, but also provides convenience for the installation and replacement of maintenance valves.

Precautions for installation of flange expansion butterfly valve:

1. The flange expansion butterfly valve needs to be placed flat before installation, and should not be bumped randomly. It is strictly prohibited to remove the bracket during operation.

2. When the flange expansion butterfly valve leaves the factory, its structural length is relatively small. During installation, it is pulled to the installation length (i.e. the design length).

3. When the length between pipelines exceeds the installation length of the expansion valve, please adjust the pipeline spacing and do not forcefully stretch the butterfly valve to avoid damaging it.

4. The flange expansion butterfly valve can be installed at any time. When used for temperature compensation, after the pipeline installation is completed, brackets need to be added at both ends along the pipeline axis to prevent the expansion valve expansion pipe from pulling out.
