The new regulation of "GA38-2021 Security Requirements for Bank Self-service Equipment and Self-service Banking" mandates that the security system should be equipped with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The backup power should ensure that the video monitoring system operates normally for at least 2 hours after the power is cut off from the grid. The alarm system should operate normally for at least 8 hours. For access control systems with locks that can be opened by power failure, the normal operation time should be no less than 48 hours. After the power is cut off from the grid, the system should send a power failure alarm to the connected monitoring center.
UPS time-sharing control main unit, an intelligent product developed and manufactured by our company, manages the electrical usage of bank video surveillance, alarms, and access control systems without increasing UPS capacity, meeting the requirements of the new GA745 regulations and ensuring the safe and operational electricity use in banks.
