Application Scope
Standard nozzles feature high temperature and high-pressure resistance, impact resistance, long service life, a wide measurement range, and high measurement accuracy. Suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure steam flow in power plants, thermal network pipelines, and the measurement of high flow velocities and fluids. There are specifically two types:
ISA1932 Nozzles (Standard Nozzles) and Long Diameter Nozzles.

If the standard pressure tap nozzle listed in the table is used above the Reynolds number mentioned, the change in flow coefficient due to flow variation does not exceed 0.5% compared to the actual value.

Long Diameter Nozzle
The assembled differential pressure flow measuring device with a long-radius orifice nozzle is a pressure differential generator for flow measurement. It can be paired with various pressure transmitters to measure the flow of different fluids in circular pipes, especially suitable for measuring high-temperature and high-pressure liquids that fill the circular pipes.

·This device is suitable for measuring high-temperature and high-pressure liquids filled in round pipes (especially used for the main steam piping of 6-360MW steam turbine generators).

This unit includes a measuring tube, nozzle, pressure tap, bracket, pin, and label.
· Total tube length is 6D (4D in front, 2D in back).
·The material for the pressure tapping tube is 12Cr1Mov, the material for the nozzle support ring is 1G18Ni9Ti; special material orders are subject to negotiation.
·We recommend using high aspect ratio long-radius pipes (our factory has always used high aspect ratio). If a low aspect ratio long-radius nozzle is used, it is suggested that β be greater than 0.32, as a too small β results in significant losses (this can be adjusted by changing the transmitter range). If a low aspect ratio long-radius nozzle with β less than 0.3125 is absolutely necessary, the downstream pressure tapping hole must not exceed the nozzle outlet edge.
