Description

I. Overview The AOLWGY series intelligent integrated turbine flowmeter is a new generation of turbine flowmeters with simple structure, lightweight, high precision, good reproducibility, sensitive response, and easy installation, maintenance, and operation. It is widely used for measuring liquids in closed pipes that are non-corrosive to stainless steel 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 2Cr13, and alumina AI2O3, as well as hard alloys, and contain no fibers or particles. The working temperature fluid kinematic viscosity is less than 5X10-6m2/S. For liquids with a kinematic viscosity greater than 5X10-6m2/S, the flowmeter can be calibrated with actual liquid before use. When paired with a display instrument with special functions, it can also perform quantitative control and overfill alarms, making it an ideal instrument for flow measurement and energy conservation. II. Working Principle Fluid flows through the sensor housing. Due to the angle between the blades of the impeller and the flow direction, the fluid's momentum imparts a torque to the blades. After overcoming the frictional torque and fluid resistance, the blades rotate. Once the torque is balanced, the rotation speed stabilizes. Under certain conditions, the rotation speed is proportional to the flow velocity. Since the blades have magnetic permeability, they are within the magnetic field of the signal detector (consisting of a magnet and a coil). As the blades rotate, they cut through the magnetic lines, periodically changing the magnetic flux in the coil, thereby generating an electrical pulse signal at both ends of the coil. This signal is amplified and shaped by an amplifier to form a continuous rectangular pulse wave of a certain amplitude, which can be transmitted remotely to the display instrument to show the instantaneous or total flow rate of the fluid. Within a certain flow range, the pulse frequency f is proportional to the instantaneous flow rate Q of the fluid passing through the sensor. The flow equation is: Where: f - Pulse frequency [Hz] k - Instrument coefficient of the sensor [1/m3], provided by the calibration sheet. Q - Instantaneous flow rate of the fluid (under working conditions) [m3/h] 3600 - Conversion factor The instrument coefficient for each sensor is filled in by the manufacturer on the calibration certificate, and the k value is set in the配套 display instrument, allowing the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative total to be displayed. III. Instrument Classification 1. By instrument function, the AOLWGY series turbine flowmeters can be divided into two categories: - Turbine flow sensor/transmitter - Intelligent integrated turbine flowmeter 2. Function Description - Turbine flow sensor/transmitter This type of turbine flow product does not have on-site display capabilities; it only transmits the flow signal remotely. The flow signal can be pulse or current signal (4-20mA); the instrument is low-cost, high-integrated, and compact, especially suitable for use with secondary display instruments, PLCs, DCSs, and other computer control systems. IV. Intelligent Integrated Turbine Flowmeter The intelligent integrated turbine flowmeter is a new type of intelligent instrument developed using advanced low-power single-chip microcomputer technology, integrating a turbine flow sensor with a display and accumulation unit. It features a double-line LCD on-site display, offering compact structure, clear and intuitive reading, high reliability, immunity to external power interference, lightning protection, and low cost. The instrument has three-point correction of the instrument coefficient, intelligent compensation for non-linear instrument coefficients, and on-site correction capabilities. The high-definition LCD display simultaneously shows the instantaneous flow rate (4 significant digits) and cumulative flow rate (8 significant digits with zero-clearing function). All valid data is retained for 10 years after power failure. This type of turbine flowmeter is an explosion-proof product with an explosion-proof grade of ExdIIBT6. V. Product Features of Turbine Flowmeters 1. High accuracy, generally up to ±1%R, ±0.5%R, and high-precision models up to ±0.2%R; 2. Good repeatability, with short-term repeatability reaching 0.05%~0.2%. Due to its good repeatability, high accuracy can be achieved through frequent calibration or online calibration, making it a preferred flowmeter for trade settlement; 3. Outputs pulse frequency signals, suitable for total volume measurement and computer connection, with no zero-point offset and strong anti-interference capability; 4. Achieves a high frequency signal (3-4KHZ), with strong signal resolution; 5. Wide range, medium and large diameters up to 1:20, and small diameters up to 1:10; 6. Compact and lightweight structure, easy installation and maintenance, with high flow capacity; 7. Suitable for high-pressure measurement, the instrument body does not need to be pierced, making it easy to manufacture high-pressure models; 8. A variety of specialized sensor types are available, and they can be designed as various specialized sensors according to user-specific needs, such as low-temperature, bidirectional, downhole, and mixed sand specialized sensors; 9. Can be made into an insertion type, suitable for large-diameter measurement, with low pressure loss, low cost, non-stop flow extraction, and easy installation and maintenance.
