Flexibility: Thanks to the mature braiding technology for the cable conductors and the special process-processed copper soft sheath for the jacket, the cable exhibits both resistance to mechanical impact and flexibility for bending. This characteristic helps to avoid the common issues with wiring terminals and delivery lengths that are often encountered when designing and installing rigid mineral insulated cable BTTZ.
Fireproof: Both conductors and sheaths are made of copper, with a melting point of 1080°C. Insulation and other auxiliary materials are made of minerals with a melting point exceeding 1375°C, ensuring compliance with GB12666.6 and BS6387 standards.
Low Smoke: Conducted smoke dispersion tests according to IEC 1034, and smoke density measurement of cables and optical fibers in accordance with GB/T17651.2-1998 under specific conditions. The test transmittance reaches over 80% (standard is 60%).
Halogen-Free: As both the mineral cable insulation and sheath are made of inorganic materials, there is no PVC material commonly used. Therefore, even under fire conditions, no acidic gases are produced. According to the GB/T17650.2-1998 test for gases released when the material from the cable is burned, the pH value can reach above 5.0 (standard requirement: ≥4.3), and the conductivity can reach approximately 1.0 (standard requirement: ≤10.0).
Temperature Resistance: The cable can operate continuously at an environmental temperature of 125℃ and can replace low-smoke, halogen-free flame-retardant cables with a temperature resistance of 125℃. It can also operate for a short period at 1080℃ during emergencies.
Corrosion-resistant: The cable insulation uses inorganic mineral materials, which do not require any additional measures during installation.
High Load Capacity: Compared to cables of the same cross-section, the main cause of cable overload and short-circuit is usually the insulation. Overloaded conductors tend to overheat, causing the insulation to heat up and age, leading to short-circuit. However, the mineral insulated fire-resistant cables use mineral materials with a melting point of 1375°C for insulation, which can inhibit aging or prevent it in the short term. Therefore, they can transmit higher currents and withstand greater overload to some extent.
High mechanical strength: The sheath of YTTW (BTTE) / NG-A, BTLY (BTLE) copper, aluminum, and other metal-clad mineral insulated fire-resistant cables is made of metal with a high melting point, offering high resistance to mechanical impacts under fire conditions. The non-metallic flexible insulated fire-resistant cables BBTRZ, due to the特殊性 of the insulation material, form a honeycomb-like rigid structure within the insulation layer when burning, effectively resisting external mechanical impacts.
Length customizable: As this product series is all flexible mineral insulated fire-resistant cables, they can be coiled onto reels for packaging, which inherently determines the infinite variability of their manufacturing length. Therefore, the factory can supply according to the design length requirements provided by the customer.
Insulation performance stability: Due to the infinite length of the product, installation does not require consideration of insufficient length causing joints. Fewer joints mean higher insulation performance and are less prone to dampness. Traditional BTTZ joints are more susceptible to dampness.
