Seed beads“Black technology”Innovative Technologies for Agricultural Modernization
Seed pelleting technologyIt's a product with numerous advantages.“Black technology”。
Seed granulationIn simple terms, it is the process of encapsulating selected seeds in one or more layers of specially formulated pelleting material, creating spherical seed particles of a certain size and shape. This pelleting material not only protects the seeds but also enhances their mechanical strength during sowing, ensuring smooth flow in the seeder, reducing breakage rates, and improving sowing accuracy and uniformity.
Its advantages are primarily reflected in the following aspects:
1. Provide a micro-environment conducive to seed germination: During pelleting, micro-fertilizers such as boron and zinc, as well as insecticides, fungicides, growth regulators, and rooting agents, can be incorporated to create a micro-environment favorable for seed germination and balance the growth and development of crops.
2. Enhance Seed Resistance: The slow release of nutritional elements promotes nutrient transformation and synthesis within the germinating plants, benefiting seed germination and growth. By adding antifreeze agents, water absorbents, limestone, activated carbon, etc., the seed's resistance to cold, drought, acidity, and herbicide residue can be individually improved.
3. Beneficial for precision mechanical sowing, reducing labor during seedling thinning: The spherical seeds have uniform shape and larger particle size after granulation, which reduces the number of seeds per sowing, accommodates mechanical sowing, achieves precision sowing, alleviates labor intensity, and decreases labor during seedling thinning.
4. Enhances resilience and seedling quality: For instance, spherical seeds with moisture retention agents can slowly release and absorb water, boosting drought resistance; increasing the amount of adhesive and extending rolling time enhances compressive strength, preventing early spring frost damage; adding insecticides reduces pest infestations; and adding nutrients ensures adequate nutrition for seed germination, strengthens seedling quality, and improves seedling survival rates.
