SMT assembly refers to the abbreviation for a series of processing procedures performed on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) base.
SMT stands for Surface Mount Technology, a popular technique and process in the electronics assembly industry. Surface Mount Technology (SMT), also known as Surface Mount or Surface Assembly Technology, involves installing surface mount components (SMC/SMD, known as chip components in Chinese) with no leads or short leads onto the surface of a printed circuit board (PCB) or other substrates, and then soldering and assembling them using methods like reflow soldering or dipping soldering.
In most cases, the electronic products we use are assembled by PCBs and various electronic components such as capacitors and resistors, following the circuit diagrams designed. Therefore, a variety of electrical appliances require different SMT surface mount technology processes for manufacturing.
