Product Model: MgAZ63 {SPACE} {SPACE} Magnesium Alloys Sacrificial Anode (Magnesium alloy sacrificial anode) {BR} Based on electrochemical principles, the cathodic current is provided to the protected structure, such as steel structures, through soil, water, and other electrolytes from the magnesium alloy anode material, causing the steel structure to undergo cathodic protection. As the current continuously flows, the anode material is consumed. This is where the name "sacrificial anode" comes from. {BR} A complete set of magnesium sacrificial anodes consists of 1 magnesium sacrificial anode ingot, 1 VV-10mm2 cable 3 meters long, 50kg of packing material, 1 cotton cloth bag, and 1 plastic woven bag. The cotton cloth bag contains 1 magnesium sacrificial anode ingot, with a 3-meter VV-10mm2 cable welded to its iron core. The welding joint is insulated and shrink-wrapped. The magnesium sacrificial anode ingot is surrounded by 50kg of packing material. The cotton cloth bag is then covered with a plastic woven bag. {BR} Magnesium sacrificial anodes are suitable for cathodic protection of steel structures working in soil, freshwater, and seawater. The above magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes can also be assembled and supplied to customers. The bare anode is first connected to the cable, sealed with epoxy resin at the connection point. Then, it is filled with packing material and enclosed in a cotton cloth bag. In line with environmental protection principles, our products are recyclable or easily decomposed by the environment. They do not contain toxic or harmful substances. Common cable insulation/sheath types include PVC/PVC, XLPE/PVC, and HMWPE. Cable specifications are available in 6mm2, 10mm2, and 16mm2.
