The套装magnesium anode is a new concept product developed by our company to meet the high-paced construction requirements of engineering projects. It is based on the traditional single sacrificial anode, supplemented with a set of accessories. This design makes the customer's construction process more convenient, time-saving, and better meets customer needs.
Component Configuration: One sacrificial anode of any model. Cable wire: Welded to the sacrificial anode according to customer's design requirements for length and specifications, sealed with epoxy resin and glass fiber or with a polyvinyl chloride shrink sleeve as per ratio. One package of filler. One set of aluminum thermite welding flux. One anode cloth bag.
Product Model: Magnesium Alloy Sacrificial Anode. According to electrochemical principles, it provides cathodic current to protected structures like steel structures through soil, water, and other electrolytes from the magnesium anode material. This process cathodizes the steel structure for corrosion protection. As the current continuously flows, the anode material is progressively consumed, hence the name "sacrificial anode." A complete set of magnesium sacrificial anode includes 1 magnesium anode ingot, 1 VV-10mm² cable (3 meters), 50kg of packing material, 1 cotton cloth bag, and 1 plastic woven bag. The cotton cloth bag contains 1 magnesium anode ingot, with a 3-meter VV-10mm² cable welded to its iron core, insulated at the welding point and covered with heat shrink tubing. The magnesium anode ingot is surrounded by 50kg of packing material, and the cotton cloth bag is then covered with a plastic woven bag. These magnesium sacrificial anodes are suitable for cathodic protection of steel structures in soils, freshwater, and seawater environments. The assembled magnesium sacrificial anodes can also be provided to customers after assembly. The bare anode is first connected to the cable, sealed with epoxy resin at the connection point, and then filled with packing material and enclosed in a cotton cloth bag. In line with environmental protection principles, our products are recyclable or easily decomposable by the environment, and are free of toxic and harmful substances.
Common cable insulation/sheath types include: PVC/PVC, XLPE/PVC, HMWPE.
Cable specifications include: 6 square millimeters, 10 square millimeters, and 16 square millimeters.
The composition of the filling material includes: (1) Gypsum powder: 75%, (2) Expanded clay: 20%, (3) Anhydrous sodium acetate: 5%. Thoroughly mix in the blending tank.
The quality specifications for assembled magnesium anodes are: Cable connection resistance: less than 0.001 Ohm; Cable connection strength: more than 5 times the weight of the assembled anode.
