Sacrificial anode cathodic protection products include alloy sacrificial anodes, strip anodes, bracelet anodes, and more. Among them, strip anodes can be further categorized into zinc strip sacrificial anodes and magnesium strip sacrificial anodes.
Zinc strip sacrificial anodes offer excellent flexibility, easy installation, uniform current distribution, and high efficiency. They are primarily used in high-resistance environments such as cathodic protection of pipelines within casing, temporary cathodic protection of pipelines, protection of storage tanks and pipeline networks, and grounding grids to prevent strong electrical interference.
In zinc ribbon sacrificial anode materials, the diamond-shaped zinc ribbon anode meets the ASTM-B418 standard and boasts excellent mechanical properties. It is highly flexible, easy to install, and can be formed into various lengths and shapes of anodes, such as spiral and disk; it can adapt to environments with higher resistivity without external power supply, with a continuous conductive core in the ribbon, requiring fewer electrical connections; it can pass through narrow local areas and challenging environments, offering greater versatility; it has a low ground resistance per unit weight and high current; it can be used as a grounding electrode, releasing AC and lightning, ensuring equipment and personal safety; zinc ribbon anodes are suitable for both freshwater and seawater environments and can also be used for buried structures.
