The universal compensator consists of a bellows and two end connections, absorbing pipe axial displacement through the flexible deformation of the bellows. It is used to compensate for pipe axial displacement and a small amount of lateral displacement, reducing vibration and noise. It features simple piping design and ease of installation. However, when used in large-diameter piping systems, due to excessive internal pressure thrust, attention must be paid to the strength of the fixed supports to prevent collapse.
Universal compensators can be used individually for axial or lateral compensation, but are not suitable for use as angular compensation alone.
Detailed specifications of the general-purpose compensator:
Material: 304; Operating Temperature Range: 200 ℃; Coefficient of Friction: 1.0; Wear Rate: 0.0001
Section II: Application Conditions for General Compensators:
Working Pressure: 0.25 MPa, 0.6 MPa, 1.0 MPa, 1.6 MPa, 2.5 MPa
Operating Temperature: -50℃ - 1200℃
Medium: Liquid, gas, etc.
Flange Standards: National Standard GB, ANSI Standard, JIS Standard, DIN Standard, etc.
Section 3: Installation Precautions for General Type Compensators:
1. The medium passes through with a chloride ion content of ≤25 PPM.
Do not allow weld slag to splash and damage the corrugated pipe.
3. Install according to product flow markings.
4. Reasonably set guide supports and fixed supports at both ends of the bellows.
5. Do not force adjust the installation errors of the piping system by deforming the bellows compensator.
6. No lifting allowed using installed tie-down rods or limit rods.
7. After installation, remove the transportation tie rods and the marked limit rods.
