The small handle lateral bellows compensator, also known as the small handle lateral expansion joint or small handle lateral compensator, can not only compensate for the lateral and angular displacement of the bent pipe section but also for the axial displacement. It is used to compensate for the lateral and angular displacement of the bent pipeline, as well as for the axial displacement.
The small bolt bellows expansion joint is composed of two bellows sections, a middle pipe, and a small bolt with a limiting nut. It is manufactured from material 1Cr18Ni9Ti or SUS304 and uses a multi-layer hydraulic forming process. It can compensate for composite displacements in the axial, angular, lateral, and all directions. The small bolt cannot withstand internal pressure thrust. For example, 0.6XLB500FB-1500 indicates a nominal diameter of 500mm, working pressure of 0.6Mpa, length of 1500mm, and a stainless steel flange-connected lateral bellows compensator for the small bolt.
The bellows expansion joint with a small handle can compensate for both lateral displacement and angular displacement of bent pipes, as well as axial displacement. The axial compensation amount and lateral compensation amount (X0, Y0) listed in the sample are used individually as the upper limit values for axial or lateral compensation. In such cases, the following relationship must be met separately:
X1≤Xo Y1≤Y
X1, Y1 represent the actual values used separately for axial or lateral compensation. When the compensator has both axial and lateral displacements, the selection of the two compensation amounts (X1, Y1) should satisfy the following relationship:
