Mica boards, as high-performance industrial materials, are mainly divided into two types: HP-5 hard mica boards and HP-8 hard phlogopite boards. They come in silver-white and golden colors, boasting excellent temperature resistance, capable of enduring temperatures up to 500°C and 850°C under continuous use, and even up to 850°C and 1050°C under intermittent use. Mica boards are not only highly resistant to bending and easy to process but also environmentally friendly, smokeless, and odorless, emitting minimal smoke and odors when heated. They exhibit superior high-temperature insulation and electrical insulation properties, with the highest temperature resistance reaching up to 1000°C and voltage breakdown strength up to 20KV/mm. Therefore, mica boards are widely used in various fields such as power, metallurgy, machinery, instruments, construction, and light industry. For instance, they are used for thermal insulation and electrical insulation in household appliances like irons and hair dryers; for electrical protection in industrial frequency furnaces and injection molding machines in the metallurgy and chemical industry; and for electrical insulation and isolation in power transformers and motors. In the construction industry, mica boards are commonly used as roof insulation boards and fire-resistant boards, taking advantage of their excellent thermal insulation and fire-resistant properties.
