The Air Type Busway is a type of busway. Its shell is made from high-strength cold-rolled steel, cold-rolled into a corrugated structure in one process, which not only ensures an aesthetically pleasing and generous appearance but also significantly enhances the mechanical strength of the busway and the thermal stability of the system, effectively solving the challenges of large-span installations at construction sites. The Air Type Busway features a structure where conductors are spaced from each other and from the shell, allowing for air insulation and, simultaneously, providing double insulation with insulating materials.

Air-type busway, mainly composed of the housing, insulating plug, and metal busbar, with the housing serving as dust protection and safety. The housing features ventilation holes for heat dissipation. The internal busbar can be single or double depending on the current size per pole. If the housing is metallic, it also provides grounding protection. From an insulation perspective, sufficient distance must be maintained for safety; from a heat dissipation standpoint, adequate space is required to ensure heat is dissipated into the air through convection.
