RO Membrane Cleaning Agent RL-101/102
I. Performance and Features
RL-101/102 Liquid Formula for Membrane Cleaning, suitable for all membrane elements, low pH RL-101 for removing metal oxides, calcium carbonate, and other scale types, non-foaming formula; membrane manufacturer's specification: dilute and adjust pH to 2.0-3.0 when in use. High pH RL-102 effectively removes oil, organic matter, and biofouling, with foaming formula; membrane manufacturer's specification: dilute and adjust pH to 11.0-13.0 when in use.

3. Usage Instructions
Inspect the water tank, piping, and security filter, and replace the filter element if necessary.
(2) Pour an adequate amount of pure water or clean water into the cleaning box, and heat it to 25 ± 5℃.
(3) Gradually add membrane cleaning agent (RL-101 or RL-102), circulate and mix the cleaning solution with clear water using a pump, and measure the pH value.
(4) Recirculate cleaning based on the severity of contamination, typically 1-10 hours. If time is extended, soak for a period before recirculating. During cleaning, take samples to observe the cleaning effect, such as the turbidity, color change, and the presence of floc. Measure pH every 5-20 minutes; add a certain amount of cleaning agent when the pH changes until it no longer varies, indicating the cleaning is complete.
(5) In severe cases of contamination, it may be necessary to completely drain and clean the cleaning fluid to prevent re-deposition of pollutants, and then reconstitute the cleaning fluid.
(6) During the cycle, pay attention to the rise in temperature; do not exceed the specified temperature.
(7) The low pH cleaner RL-101 and the high pH cleaner RL-102 serve different purposes. The selection and usage sequence should be determined based on the operational site conditions, or consult a technical engineer.
(8) Alternate cleaning with low pH cleaner RL101 and high pH cleaner RL-102, followed by thorough rinsing with high-quality water.
If needed, pairing with a fungicide and film-specific maintenance agent enhances effectiveness.
