
An explosion-proof pneumatic ball valve is a valve consisting of an AT(GT) series pneumatic actuator and a floating ball valve, suitable for regulating and cutting applications. It features excellent sealing performance, low fluid resistance, simple structure, long service life, and ease of maintenance.
Working Principle
Explosion-proof pneumatic ball valves operate by using compressed air to rotate the ball within the valve body, thereby controlling the opening or closing of the pipeline. When the passage on the ball aligns with the valve body's inlet and outlet, the valve is open, allowing fluid to pass through. After the ball rotates 90 degrees, the passage becomes perpendicular to the valve body's inlet and outlet, closing the valve and stopping the fluid flow. The pneumatic actuator includes a cylinder, piston, valve, and control components, which, upon receiving a control signal, convert compressed air energy into mechanical kinetic energy, driving the valve stem and the connected ball to rotate.

Explosion-proof pneumatic ball valves are widely used in various industrial fields such as chemicals, petrochemicals, light industry and textiles, electricity, food, refrigeration, aviation, space, and papermaking. They are not only capable of controlling gases, liquids, and steam mediums but also suitable for controlling sewage and mediums containing fibers. Additionally, they are extensively applied in coal chemical, petrochemical, rubber, papermaking, and other pipelines as devices for分流/合流 or flow direction switching of mediums.
