Galvanized wire is twisted once in one direction and woven into a hexagonal mesh (six-eyes) and placed in a cage, also known as stone笼 and mat. Both surfaces are coated with metal surface coating and PVC/PE. The diameter of the metal wire used varies according to the size of the hexagon. The production process includes weaving, cutting, sewing, and combines the stone cage and mat. The stone cage and mat are supplied in a folded state.
Product characteristics of Gabion mesh materials:
1. Gabion mesh. Just throw a stone into the cage and seal it.
2. Gabion mesh construction is simple and does not require special techniques.
3. Gabion mesh boasts strong resistance to natural erosion and corrosion, as well as the ability to withstand harsh weather conditions.
4. Gabion mesh can withstand a wide range of deformations but still collapses.
5. The silt and vegetation produced between the stones in the gabion cages blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment.
6. Gabion mesh offers excellent permeability, preventing damage caused by hydrostatic pressure.
7. Gabion nets save on transportation costs. They can be folded for transport and assembled on-site.
Gabion usage: Embankment protection, river and flood control and guidance, dam and spillway, rockfall protection, soil erosion prevention, soil structure, bridges, coastal protection works, port protection projects, retaining walls, slope protection.
