The main structure of the U-tube heat exchanger includes tube box, cylinder, end caps, heat exchange tubes, connecting pipes, baffle plates, anti-surge plates, and guide tubes, anti-short-circuit structures, supports, and other accessories for the shell and tube side.
The U-tube heat exchanger features only one tube plate, with both ends of the tubes fixed on the same plate. The tubes can freely expand and contract, eliminating thermal stress and offering excellent thermal compensation. The tube side employs a double-pass design, resulting in a longer flow path, higher flow velocity, and superior heat transfer performance. It has strong pressure-bearing capacity, allowing the tube bundle to be removed from the shell for easy maintenance and cleaning.
