Bend Tube Fixed Conical Valve is a valve featuring an inverted conical plug valve core structure, hence also known as a Conical Valve or Energy Dissipation Valve. It is primarily used for bypass valves in hydraulic turbine generators, free discharge valves, and continuous flow control, and is also suitable for agricultural irrigation and other applications.
Operating Principle
The bent pipe fixed conical valve regulates flow by adjusting the distance between the movable valve sleeve and the fixed conical body. The annular space between the sleeve and the cone is used for discharge, and the sleeve is moved forward and backward along the flow direction by a screw drive to control the flow. When fully open, the flow coefficient can reach above 0.85.
Structural Features
The bent tube fixed conical valve features the following characteristics:
Excellent energy dissipation effect: Through the friction of water and air as well as the whirlpool after entering the water, it reduces the impact on the downstream pipeline or buildings.
Flow Control: The conical design ensures a linear relationship between flow and valve core displacement, offering excellent regulating performance.
Simple structure, easy to operate: The full valve's weight is supported by the root anchoring bolt, ensuring good structural load conditions.
Application Scenario
Wye type fixed cone valves are widely used in the following scenarios:
Turbine-generator set: Used as a bypass valve or discharge valve for regulating and controlling flow.
Farmland Irrigation: Its excellent energy dissipation effect and flow control capability make it suitable for farmland irrigation systems.
