A hydraulic jet ejector is a mechanical device with three functions: vacuum extraction, condensation, and drainage. It operates by utilizing a stream of water at a certain pressure, which is evenly distributed through nozzles with a specific incline, converging at a focal point. Due to the high speed of the jetted water, a negative pressure is formed around it, creating a vacuum inside the chamber. At the same time, the secondary steam comes into direct contact with the jetted water for heat exchange, with most of the steam condensing into water. The uncondensed steam and non-condensable gases are then expelled through an expansion pipe, further enhancing the vacuum.
Operating Principle
Hydraulic jet nozzles create a vacuum effect by forming a high-speed jet of water, which generates negative pressure. The high-speed jet of water produces negative pressure around it, creating a vacuum inside the chamber. The secondary steam comes into direct contact with the jet water for heat exchange, with most of the steam condensing into water. The uncondensed steam and non-condensable gases are then expelled through an expansion tube, further enhancing the vacuum level.
Structural composition
The hydraulic jet atomizer is mainly composed of the body, cover, nozzle, nozzle seat plate, guide disk, diffuser tube, and check valve, etc. The nozzle features a multi-nozzle design to achieve a larger steam contact area, facilitating heat exchange and achieving better vacuum effects. The entire unit is compact, precise, and highly robust, suitable for vacuum evaporation systems, where it can streamline the process and save on equipment.
Application Fields
Hydraulic jet nozzles are widely used, primarily in vacuum and evaporation systems such as vacuum pumping, vacuum evaporation, vacuum filtration, vacuum crystallization, drying, and deodorization processes. They are extensively applied in the sugar, chemical, food, salt, monosodium glutamate, milk, fermentation, and some light industry and defense sectors.
