W Series Hydraulic Jet Nozzles - Working Principle and Applications
Overview: The W Series hydraulic jet pump is a mechanical device with three effective functions: vacuum extraction, condensation, and drainage. It operates by utilizing a certain pressure of water stream, which is evenly distributed through nozzles with a certain inclination and emitted to converge at a focal point. Due to the high speed of the jet water, a negative pressure is formed around it, creating a vacuum inside the device. Additionally, as the secondary steam comes into direct contact with the jet water, heat exchange occurs, causing most of the steam to condense into water. A small amount of uncondensed steam and non-adhesive gases, after interacting with the high-speed jet water through friction, mixing, and compression, are expelled through an expansion tube, further enhancing the vacuum inside the device. The hydraulic jet pump is widely used in vacuum and evaporation systems for processes such as vacuum pumping, vacuum evaporation, vacuum filtration, vacuum crystallization, drying, and deodorization. It is a widely demanded equipment in sugar, chemical, food, salt, flavoring, milk, fermentation, and some light industry and national defense sectors. (Materials: Stainless Steel, Cast Iron) The steam jet pump is a hydraulic jet series steam pump that uses water and steam jet to aspirate gas and achieve vacuum, representing a new type of equipment. The centrifugal pump increases the pressure of static water, and the pressurized water is jetted out at high speed from the steam nozzle, lowering the pressure at the nozzle outlet to form a vacuum, drawing in external gases or liquids, and then entering the mixing tube. Together with the SPB type glass fiber reinforced plastic hydraulic jet vacuum pump, it can be used with a corresponding centrifugal pump. The jet pump does not require high-level installation; it can be installed on flat ground. The pump has the advantages of easy installation, no maintenance required, and affordable pricing. The glass fiber reinforced plastic molded jet pump, in addition to the anti-corrosion features of the jet pump, has high molding density, smooth and solid inner and outer surfaces, and enhanced durability and anti-corrosion performance, making it comparable to stainless steel components. W-Type Hydro-jet特点:
The hydraulic jet unit is compact in structure with high strength, suitable for use in vacuum evaporation systems. By combining the condensation function of the condenser with the exhaust function of the vacuum pump into a single unit, it significantly simplifies the process flow. Compared to the previous setup using a vacuum pump and an outdated condenser, it eliminates the need for the vacuum pump, condenser, separator, and other equipment, and also offers the following advantages:
1. The hydraulic jet is compact in size, lightweight, and features a tight structure. It boasts higher efficiency with a lower power consumption compared to a vacuum pump system, making it an attractive investment option.
2. Easy to operate and maintain, no need for full-time staff management; due to the absence of mechanical transmission parts, the noise level is low and no lubricating oil is required.
3. Suitable for outdoor installation at ground level, occupying minimal space; this can save on factory building area and installation costs.
W-Type hydraulic jet pump application:
Hydraulic jet ejectors are widely used, primarily in vacuum and evaporation systems for processes such as vacuum pumping, vacuum evaporation, vacuum filtration, vacuum crystallization, drying, and deodorization. They are essential equipment in the grain, chemical, food, salt, monosodium glutamate, milk, fermentation, and some light industry and defense sectors, highly demanded across various fields.
W-Type Hydraulic Jet Ejector Structural Description:
The hydraulic jet nozzle is composed of components such as the body, cover, nozzle, nozzle seat plate, guide disc, diffuser pipe, and check valve. The nozzle is made of stainless steel, the nozzle seat plate is machined from steel, and the remaining parts are cast iron. The nozzle features a multi-nozzle structure to achieve a larger water-gas contact area, enhancing heat exchange and achieving a better vacuum effect. The nozzle seat plate is precision-machined to ensure that the jet stream is accurately focused at a single point. The guide disc slows down the steam (or air) flow rate, ensuring even steam introduction into the chamber to prevent the jet stream from being deflected and reducing the suction efficiency.
