
Piston metering pumps are specialized volumetric pumps designed to meet the stringent requirements of various process flows, primarily used for transferring liquids, especially corrosive ones.
Operating Principle
Plunger metering pumps directly吸入 and 排出 working medium through the reciprocating motion of the plunger. As the plunger moves inward, the chamber volume decreases, and the liquid is pushed out of the pump body; when the plunger moves outward, the chamber volume increases, and the liquid is吸入 into the pump body. By continuously repeating this reciprocating motion, plunger pumps can continuously deliver liquid.

Flow Adjustment: Flow can be infinitely adjusted between 0-99%, maintaining a constant flow rate irrespective of the discharge pressure.
Applicable Medium: Suitable for high viscosity media, but not suitable for conveying corrosive slurry and hazardous chemicals._
Accuracy and Pressure: Measuring accuracy up to ±1%, pressure up to 350 MPa; flow rate remains almost unchanged during pressure fluctuations at the outlet.

Structural composition
The plunger metering pump is mainly composed of three parts: the motor, transmission box, and cylinder body. The transmission box components include the worm gear mechanism, stroke adjustment mechanism, and crank linkage mechanism; the cylinder body components include the pump head, inlet valve assembly, outlet valve assembly, plunger, and stuffing box gasket.
Common Types
Plunger metering pumps come in two main types: valve-equipped pumps and valveless pumps. Valve-equipped pumps control the flow of fluids in and out through the opening and closing of valves, while valveless pumps rely on their unique internal design to measure and transport fluids.
