High-pressure reactors are composed of an electric motor reducer, magnetic drive unit, end caps, cylinder, jacket, agitator, etc.
The magnetic drive unit is a typical innovation for autoclaves, fundamentally resolving the shaft seal leakage issues previously unaddressed by packing seals and mechanical seals. It ensures no leakage or contamination, making it an ideal device for high-temperature and high-pressure chemical reactions currently in use in China. Its superiority is further highlighted when handling reactions with flammable, explosive, or toxic media. It is widely applied in industries such as oil, chemicals, rubber, pesticides, dyes, and food, for processes like vulcanization, nitration, hydrogenation, hydrocarbonation, polymerization, and condensation.
Structural Features:
Specs: 50L, 100L, 200L, 300L, 500L, 1000L, 1500L, 2000L, 3000L, 5000L, 8000L, 10000L, 20000L, etc.
Material: The high-pressure reactor mainly uses composite panels, with commonly used basic materials being Q345R for the panels and S31603, S30408, S32168, as well as Hastelloy, nickel, titanium, Monel, zirconium, and other non-ferrous metals. Pure stainless steel can also be used.
Agitator: A strong magnetic rotational coupling structure (magnetic drive) made from rare-earth permanent magnets. The basic materials for the magnetic drive are ferromagnetic substances (ferrous alloys, nickel alloys), with minimal loss of magnetic field when passing through the sealing alloy layer. As a result, the rotating magnetic field generated by the external permanent magnet can be effectively received by the internal permanent magnet rotor, thus driving the agitation components inside the reactor for material mixing. The agitation speed ranges from 0 to 300 rpm, even higher, and can be equipped with various propellers such as propellers, paddle, anchor, frame, and helical blades.
Heating: Common heating methods include jacket (semicircular tube) external circulation heating and electric heating, with circulating media such as steam and thermal oil.
Safety: The high-pressure reactor is equipped with a safety valve or bursting disc, featuring minimal bursting value error, rapid instantaneous exhaust speed, and reliable safety.
Polishing: The inner surface of the vessel requiring polishing can be mirror polished.
Dish Cover: Common structures for dish covers include flat lids and封头式 (seamed heads). Holes on the dish cover can be designed according to customer requirements.
Caution for using high-pressure reactors (hydrogenation reactors):
1. For individuals new to autoclave operations, it is mandatory to have at least one operator proficient in autoclave procedures present.
2. Personnel operating on-site must wear cotton gloves and shoes without nails.
3. Do not carry items such as mobile phones, lighters, MP3 players, etc. that can cause explosions or spontaneous combustion into the hydrogenation work area.
4. Operators handling tools and parts near the hydrogen decomposition process should handle them gently to prevent rigid impacts that may produce sparks.
5. During pressure relief, the exhaust from high-pressure reactions should be directed outdoors through a flexible hose or into a fume hood.
