Channel gate is an industrial equipment used to interrupt water flow within a channel and control fluid movement. It is primarily made of stainless steel or carbon steel coated with epoxy resin paint and features a rubber soft seal. It is characterized by its light weight, flexible operation, corrosion resistance, non-rusting, easy installation and maintenance, and reliable sealing.
Structural composition
The channel gate is mainly composed of the gate leaf and the embedded part. The gate leaf includes the load-bearing structure, running support, arm, hinge, water-stop device, and lifting ears; the embedded part includes the track, hinge seat, water-stop seat, corner guard, etc., which require secondary pouring and anchoring.
Application Fields
Channel gates are widely used in waterworks, sewage plants, irrigation and drainage, flood control, oil, chemical, metallurgical, environmental protection, power, ponds, rivers, and other engineering projects, mainly for cutoff, flow regulation, and water level control.
Drive Method
Channel gates are available in various drive types, including handwheel, hand-crank, and hand-electric dual-use, suitable for clean water, wastewater, and seawater mediums.
