Stainless Steel Channel Gate is an industrial equipment used for cutting off water flow within channels and controlling fluid movement. It is primarily made of stainless steel, featuring strong corrosion resistance and good sealing performance. This equipment is widely used in water supply and drainage projects, wastewater treatment plants, irrigation and drainage systems, etc., for blocking water flow, regulating flow rate, controlling water level, and discharging sediment.
Structure composition
The stainless steel channel gate is primarily composed of the leaf and the embedded part. The leaf includes the bearing structure, walking support, arm, hinge, water stop, and lifting lugs; the embedded part consists of the track, hinge seat, water stop seat, and corner protector, which requires secondary pouring and anchoring. Additionally, the gate features a rubber seal design, capable of withstanding pressure in both directions and adapting to varying channel depths.
Operating Principle
The stainless steel channel gate is driven by an actuator to rotate the locking nut, which, under the action of trapezoidal threads, causes the screw to move the gate up and down, thereby achieving the purpose of blocking or clearing water flow. Its water passage section is as wide as the channel, highly adaptable to the channel, and lightweight.
Application Fields
Stainless steel channel gates are widely used in waterworks, sewage treatment plants, drainage and irrigation systems, flood control systems, oil, chemical, metallurgical, environmental protection, and power industries for cutoff, flow regulation, and water level control. Additionally, they are suitable for controlling water flow in agricultural irrigation channels, urban water supply and drainage systems, and industrial water channel systems in various factories.
Maintain and service
Stainless steel channel gates are relatively easy to maintain. In case of leakage after years of use, simply replace the rubber sealing ring on the gate frame, saving time and effort with low repair costs. Additionally, the electric operation device is easy to position, facilitating smooth operation and enabling both automatic and remote control.
