Product Introduction: Glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) pressure sand-filled pipes are a new type of composite material made from unsaturated, vinyl, or epoxy resin as the matrix material, glass fiber as the reinforcing material, and quartz sand as the filling material. They are renowned for their excellent corrosion resistance, hydraulic properties, lightweight yet high strength, large flow capacity, easy installation, short construction period, and low overall investment. These features make them a preferred choice for the chemical industry, drainage projects, and pipeline engineering.

Product Advantages: The product is made with highly corrosion-resistant resins, offering superior mechanical properties and processing characteristics, making it resistant to most acidic, alkaline, saline wastewater without treatment, corrosive soil or groundwater, and the erosion of numerous chemicals.

1. Excellent heat and cold resistance: Maintains good flexibility and high strength at -30°C, suitable for long-term use within the range of -50°C to 80°C. Special formulated resins allow for use up to 110°C.

2. 【Excellent Abrasion Resistance】The abrasion resistance of glass steel pipes is exceptional. Tests have proven this: a rotational abrasion test was conducted by filling the pipes with water containing a large amount of mud and sand. After 300,000 rotations, the wear depth on the inner wall of the pipes was measured as follows: 0.53mm for pipes coated with tar and ceramic oil; 0.48mm for pipes with surface hardening treatment; and only 0.21mm for glass steel pipes. This demonstrates the superior abrasion resistance of glass steel pipes.

3. [Excellent Insulation Performance] Due to the low thermal conductivity of glass fiber reinforced plastic products, their insulation performance is particularly excellent.

4. [Post-Curing Antifouling Resistance] Resists scaling, corrosion, and is immune to contamination and attachment by marine or wastewater microorganisms such as shellfish and fungi during use.

5. [Fewer interfaces, high installation efficiency] The standard length of the pipeline is typically 6-12m per piece (special lengths can also be produced upon customer request). Longer single pieces of pipeline result in fewer interfaces, which in turn accelerates installation, reduces the likelihood of malfunctions, and enhances the overall quality of the pipeline installation.

6. [Low Density, Lightweight] Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) pipes produced by filament winding have a density of 1.65-2.0, which is only 1/4 that of steel. Despite this, their hoop tensile strength is 180-300MPa and axial tensile strength is 60-150MPa, comparable to alloy steel. Consequently, their specific strength (strength/density) is 2-3 times that of alloy steel. This allows them to be designed to meet the varying internal and external pressure requirements of different applications. For the same diameter, the weight of FRP pipes is only half that of carbon steel pipes (rolled steel), one-third and one-eighth of cast iron pipes and pre-stressed concrete pipes, respectively, making transportation and installation extremely convenient.

7. 【Excellent Mechanical Properties, Excellent Insulation Performance】The tensile strength of the pipe is lower than steel but higher than ductile iron pipes and concrete pipes. Its specific strength is about three times that of steel pipes, ten times that of ductile iron pipes, and twenty-five times that of concrete pipes. Additionally, its thermal conductivity coefficient is only 1% of that of steel pipes, offering excellent insulation properties. It is suitable for use in areas with dense transmission and telecommunication lines and frequent lightning strikes.

8.【Excellent Hydraulic Performance, Energy-Saving】Sanded glass steel pipes feature a smooth inner surface, making them ideal for large-diameter (≥φ500mm) water conveyance pipelines. They have a low friction coefficient and excellent hydraulic fluid characteristics, with their advantages becoming more pronounced as the pipe diameter increases. Conversely, for pipelines with the same flow rate, smaller-diameter sanded glass steel pipes can be used in place of larger ones, thereby reducing the initial engineering investment. Compared to other pipe materials during water conveyance, sanded glass steel pipes can significantly reduce head loss, saving pump power and energy.
