A hydraulic filter press is a batch-type press filter used for solid-liquid separation of various suspensions, offering excellent separation performance and ease of use. It is widely employed in industries such as petroleum, chemicals, dyes, metallurgy, food, papermaking, coal washing, and wastewater treatment, where solid-liquid separation is required. The hydraulic filter press mainly consists of four major parts: the frame, the filtration section, the hydraulic and electrical control sections. During operation, the piston in the cylinder pushes the pressing plate, which compresses the filter plates and filtering medium (filter cloth) between the pressing plate and the stop plate. This allows the filtered material (slurry) to be pressurized and filtered within the filter chamber.
